Two 18-year-olds charged with murder in Anson County: Sheriff

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Two 18-year-olds have been charged with murder following an incident earlier this month, according to the Anson County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeffery Willoughby and Michael Christain have both been charged with felony murder which took place on July 12 at Mineral Springs Mobile Home Park in Morven.

Both are being held without bond in the Anson County Jail with an initial court date of Aug. 12, officials said.

Authorities say this is still an active investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Anson County Sheriff’s Office at 704-694-4188.
