Sheriff Streater says Fentanyl has been found mixed with Xylazine, a livestock sedative, in the county. Both Fentanyl and Xylazine can be absorbed through the skin and are often in powdered form.

However, Narcan does not work against Xylazine since it’s not an opioid. Anyone who comes in contact with Fentanyl or Xylazine should seek medical help.
