Kevin Durant Holds Nothing Back After NFL Star Made Harsh Criticism

Kevin Durant on social media is quite hilarious, and we are all happy about it. The Phoenix Suns star has never been shy about speaking his mind when he feels like it. It's no surprise, then, that Durant responded to a viral clip criticizing him.

Former NFL first-overall pick Keyshawn Johnson criticized Durant's decision to join the Golden State Warriors in 2016. Johnson was a guest at Undisputed Live , where he said that had Paul Pierce joined that Warriors team, they would've produced the same results they had with KD.

“If I put Paul Pierce on the Golden State Warriors with Klay Thompson and Draymond and Steph Curry, you don't think he could do the same stuff?”, Johnson ranted.

Durant fired back at the hypothetical with a hypothetical of his own. In his response, he named four Hall of Famers that would have been better No. 1 picks in the 1996 Draft instead of Johnson, claiming the New York Jets would've fared better with any of them instead of him.

"I hate hypotheticals," Durant added.

Durant's decision to join the Warriors has long been criticized by many NBA fans. The then-Thunder star joined a 73-9 Golden State team, instantly making them the best team in the league by a country mile. KD has never shown regret in that decision, despite the backlash.

It's a bit amusing to think that Durant is talking smack against critics on social media while he's in the Olympics. The Suns star is coming off an insane game for Team USA against Serbia. They're set to take on South Sudan in a few days.
