Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were back at practice after a week-long vacation during the WNBA's 2024 Paris Olympics break. Following the Fever's practice, the WNBA All-Star spoke with the media, taking the time to ask head coach Christie Sides for a favor.

"I watched USA women yesterday; that was fun. I watched USA men," Clark said. "I try to watch as much as I can. Obviously, the perfect time is during practice with the time change in Paris, so maybe Christie [Sides] should cancel practice so I can watch more of the Olympics."

Clark has been closely watching the Olympics, but the time zone in Paris interferes with the Fever's practice schedule. Given her desire to watch the games, she hoped that their coach would cancel practice so she would be able to tune into the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite Clark's wish, the Fever will be back at practice this week, preparing for their next matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The rookie out of Iowa has served as the Fever's floor general, proving to be one of the league's most versatile offense weapons. She leads the WNBA in average assists while also leading the Fever in points, assists, and steals, averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

Indiana lies as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference standings with an 11-15 record. They're in a position to make the WNBA playoffs.
