LeBron James' Subtle Reaction to Simone Biles' Olympic History

United States Olympic gymnast Simone Biles secured gold in the Women's All-Around Final on Thursday, prompting social media to explode with reactions. Some of the biggest figures in the sports world commented on Biles' accomplishment, including Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

James reposted a picture of Biles winning the gold medal, which was captioned, "Since 1976, every women's Olympic All-Around champion has been under the age of 20. Simone Biles is 27 years old."

The NBA star added the post to his Instagram story and placed a goat emoji at the top of the screen, which often refers to someone as the "greatest of all time."

Biles' resume easily gives merit to James' GOAT proclamation. She has the most gold medals by an American Olympian (6) in the history of the international games, passing men's legend Anton Heida.

Biles has now won nine Olympic medals through the Paris, Tokyo and Rio De Janeiro Games.

James is currently leading the Team USA men's basketball team, preparing a stacked roster with Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Stephen Curry for their chase for gold.

At 39 years old, James, who was the USA's flag bearer for the Paris Olympics, hasn't skipped a beat. In the team's recent 103-86 victory over South Sudan, the talented forward posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

Team USA is currently 2-0 in the group phase, having beaten Serbia and South Sudan.

Their next matchup will take place on Aug. 3 at 11:15 a.m. ET against Puerto Rico.
