Humidity levels have been creeping higher since Saturday and we are going to be back in the soup for today as well as the week ahead. We will also be dealing with a series of waves moving around the Bermuda high. It is building into the Southeastern US. A southwest flow aloft is bringing up ripples in the flow. It will not be raining all the time but there will be some downpours and a few heavier thunderstorms to deal with during the week ahead.

This is going to be a busy weather weekend. We have Tropical Depression 4 which is about to move off the coast of Western Cuba. Once it does so tonight, it will strengthen to Tropical Storm Debbie and head north northwestward offshore of the West Coast of Florida. Tropical Storm Warnings and Hurricane Watches have been posted from Flamingo Key to Appalachacola Florida and over time, additional watches and warnings will be going up for inland areas of North Florida as well as Coastal Georgia and the Carolinas.

Beryl's remnants will be lifting through the Great Lakes Region today. This will lift a warm front through New England during the day. This warm front will likely slow down or even stall out across central Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine due to an approaching cold front from Canada. This front will provide the focus for a swath of heavy rainfall, where multiple inches of rain will be possible. Areas north and south of this front will see lesser rainfall. Areas south may also see some strong to severe storms in the warm sector.
