US 60 Yard Sale underway for miles in Kentucky

CARTER COUNTY, KY (WOWK) – As the saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” and thrifting fans had the chance to hit the highway on Friday to the US 60 Yard Sale!

Folks can come out to the to find some unique and new-to-you treasures. The US 60 Yard Sale spans miles of US 60 and runs through several Kentucky counties. It’s also part of a statewide sale that stretches for 200 miles!

In Carter County, residents and visitors alike were out Friday morning browsing through all kinds of items. One man from Ohio told 13 News he was hoping to find some good items at the sales.

“There’s always, always – everybody’s got different stuff, and that’s a nice place to think about,” said Gary McCormick of Ohio. “And this area right here, there’s a lot of people set up and they got everybody getting different stuff”

There’s still plenty of time to find your own treasures at the sale! This massive yard sale runs through the weekend.
