The 2024 NFL schedule is set, and training camps are now in full swing. With the first full week of NFL preseason games already here, it's time for managers to start their 2024 fantasy football draft prep. History has proven that the key to season-long fantasy football 2024 success is hitting on 2024 fantasy football sleepers and avoiding 2024 fantasy football busts. Last year's list of players who outperformed their fantasy football ADP included the likes of tight end Sam LaPorta, wide receiver Puka Nacua, and running back Kyren Williams. Players who failed to live up to expectations a year ago included Austin Ekeler, Tony Pollard, and Kyle Pitts. Who will be the top 2024 fantasy breakouts and which players are in position to find themselves on the list of fantasy football 2024 busts at the end of the season?

    Top 2024 Fantasy football picks

The Fantasy football draft bible features 2024 Fantasy football breakouts, including:

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills: The former Utah standout had a solid rookie season, catching 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns. Buffalo traded All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Texans during the offseason, which should result in an increased role for Kincaid in 2024. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, the 24-year-old is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he plays with a quarterback in Josh Allen who can push the ball downfield as well as anyone in the NFL. With Diggs out of the way, Kincaid has a very good chance to develop into Allen's No. 1 target in 2024.

"Kincaid is likely going to fall on a lot of breakout lists as he seems primed to assume the lead role in the Bills passing game this year, which gives him the potential to deliver a season similar to that of Mark Andrews or maybe even Travis Kelce. The reason we have him ranked so low is that we need him to finish as a top-two tight end to be a successful breakout pick, as most of his upside is baked into his draft price already. But when you look at where Kelce and Andrews are drafted in comparison, there is still some profit potential at his Round 5 price," White told SportsLine.

Marquise Brown, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: "Hollywood" has flashed signs of greatness at times in his career, but he has yet to fully hit his NFL potential. That could all change in 2024 now that the 27-year-old has Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball. Brown did go over the 1,000-yard mark as a member of the Baltimore Ravens in 2021, but for the most part has been an inconsistent fantasy producer in his five professional seasons. Brown is widely considered to be one of the best route runners in the NFL, and should benefit from Andy Reid's play-calling prowess.

"Brown was ninth on our breakout list last year as the WR35 in Arizona, where he received a WR1 volume of targets early in the year while the team awaited Kyler Murray's return but couldn't do enough with them to deliver a breakout performance. He's back much higher on our list this year after landing in a much better situation in Kansas City, where he won't be relied upon as much to carry the load of the offense while also getting to catch passes from potentially the best quarterback in NFL history by the time Patrick Mahomes calls it a career," White said.
