Anthony Edwards and the Team USA men's basketball squad took down Puerto Rico, 104-83, advancing to 3-0 in the Group Phase.

During the dominant victory for the United States, Edwards put Pierre Mauroy Stadium on their feet with an electric windmill dunk. He hit the fastbreak and the anticipation was built for Edwards to show something special.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star went flying in the air, punched down the windmill and proceeded to stare down the Puerto Rican bench.

Following the emphatic dunk, basketball fans shared their thoughts on the incredible play.

"Felt the breeze over here!," said one fan.

"The way Antony Edwards looks at the Puerto Rican bench after the dunk is legendary," said another fan with a laughing emoji.

    "Number one option," commented another.

The video of Edwards' dunk has been reposted on hundreds of social media accounts, resulting in the NBA star being in X's "trending" tab for sports.

Edwards finished the Group Phase matchup with a game-high 26 points, shooting 11-15 from the field.

The 22-year-old star became the youngest U.S. player to score 20+ points in an Olympic game since Dwight Howard who recorded 22 points against Germany in 2008.

Despite coming off the bench for Team USA, Anthony Edwards has been one of the team's top players throughout the Olympics.

While the schedule has yet to be released, the men's basketball quarterfinals will begin on Aug. 6, so Edwards and company will have a few days of rest before the Olympics continue.
