Chargers Get Worrisome Training Camp Injury Update

The Los Angeles Chargers have a lot of new faces on the roster and the coaching staff. However, one big name returning is edge rusher Joey Bosa.

Bosa is expected to be a big part of the Chargers defense under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. Unfortunately, the Chargers got unfortunate news regarding Bosa during training camp on Sunday.

The defensive star was seen walking off the field with trainers after suffering an injury , per Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

"Joey Bosa shaken up after rush in 11 on 11. Something with his left hand/wrist. Heading inside w trainers now. Bosa had been dominating practice."

This is another big blow to the Chargers. They have already lost Justin Herbert for the time being as he deals with plantar fascia in his right foot .

However, Herbert is expected to be ready to suit up for Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

As for Bosa, he was clearly upset as he walked off the field, so the severity of the injury remains to be seen.

One Chargers fan who attended practice mentioned he looked "pissed" as he walked off with trainers.

Bosa has played just 14 games combined the past two seasons due to injuries, so this is certainly not what Charger fans want to see at training camp. This will be a developing situation to see Bosa's status.
