Lunchbox Left Restaurant After Waiting 12 Minutes For Server

Lunchbox has a lot of restaurant questions!

He went to lunch with his family and was seated at a table and waited 12 minutes before anyone served their table. They didn’t even have water while they waited. The place was not busy and there were only three other tables with people. After 12 minutes of no service, they left. He wanted to know how long you should wait with no service before you leave.

Bobby Bones shared that after 5 minutes of waiting, if he still didn’t have water, he would’ve asked for some hoping they realize they have a table that needs to be served. He wouldn’t have left because there could’ve been a shift change happening as they were seated, and the staff is unsure who has which table yet. When Bones was a waiter, he shared they had 2 minutes from the time the customers were seated to get them water and create communication. The show agreed the restaurant did not do them right by having them wait so long, but Lunchbox should’ve tried to flag someone down or communicated before he left.
