    “He Wants To Be My Friend” – Woman Leans Out Of Moving Car To Pet Bison At Yellowstone National Park

    Though it’s late in the summer, there’s still plenty of time for dumb tourists to get attacked by bison at Yellowstone National Park.

    This social media influencer named Maylee certainly got the Yellowstone community fired up with one of her latest TikToks. As she was traveling through Yellowstone National Park, her vehicle came up upon a bison, and she decided she was going to try and pet it.

    So she hung out the side of her car window and instructed whoever was driving to get her close enough, saying:

    “Get me close enough so I can touch him. I’m gonna touch him.”

    The National Park Service advises tourists to stay at least 100 yards away from bison, just to be safe. Not only did she not follow those guidelines, the social media influencer endangered herself (and potentially harassed the bison).

    As the vehicle approached the 2,000 pound beast – with Maylee hanging halfway out the window – the driver intentionally chose to steer in a way that didn’t put the bison within reach of the influencer. She annoyingly pointed that out and pouted as they passed on by:

    “You’re not close. You’re not close. I want to touch him so bad. He wants to be my friend. Let him be my friend!”

    With as many bison goring videos that I’ve personally covered, I can virtually guarantee that the bison did not want to be her friend. If she would have actually petted on him, things could have gotten really ugly really quick. Instead, Maylee took an infuriating video and posted it for all of her social media followers to see:

    @im.over.covid.maylee Whyyy?!? He loves me!!! Let him love me!! #fyp #viral #foryou #haha #fypage #fypシ゚viral #yellowstone #kidsoftiktok #kid #for #you #foryoupage @Yellowstone #buffalo #animal#animalsoftiktok #animallover #bestfriend #best #friend #bff #bffgoals ♬ original sound – im.over.covid (maylee)

    Props to that bison for keeping its cool.

    Though it seems like there were a lot of people online that wished the behemoth would have taught the influencer a lesson. That’s at least how it seems when you scroll through the comments and read messages like these:

    “Famous last words.”

    “So dangerous. She’s lucky her driver was smart.”

    “The definition of a touron.”

    “The bison score card almost increased by one.”

    “Come on nature! Do your thing.”
