A LUXURY van, once owned by Ye, is about to go under the hammer at a shocking discount.

Ye, 47, the rapper previously known as Kanye West , sold the wild-looking ultra-luxury van in January 2024 before its price dwindled to just $12,600.

The van, a 1996 Mauck MSV 1120S Elite, is a rare piece of automotive history, according to Media Drum World .

Previously owned by Ye’s Yeezy LLC, the black camper -like van is set to auction at around a fifth of the car’s original MSRP.

Mauck only made 100 iterations of the hyperluxury vehicle between 1996 and 1999.

Passengers inside the van were treated with supple luxuries.

The MSV has factory features, including air suspension, dihedral front doors, limo-style seating, a refrigerator, and a sink.

A dihedral door is a passenger opening that swings upward at an angle, similar to the gull-wing doors on some sports cars .

The interior can fit six people.

The van features components from several passenger vehicles in the mid-1990s.

A V-8 GM motor powered the luxury van while Ford Aeromax headlamps illuminated the road.

The van borrowed taillights from the ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee and used the DRLs from the Dodge Viper.

The body panels are made of fiberglass.

It also features upgrades like a new stereo, a roof-mounted entertainment system, and updated rims.

The van’s CarMax also shows no signs of road accidents.

However, the van has seen some better days, according to Robb Report .

The sellers noted that the car has several chips and scratches on its exterior paint after driving 60,000 miles.

Here are some more specs for Ye's previous 1996 Mauck MSV 1120S Elite:

    • GM-sourced 6.3-liter V8 engine
    • Dihedral front doors
    • Leather upholstery for six passengers in the rear cabin
    • Front and rear air conditioning – though the front AC needs repairs
    • Refrigerator and sink
    • Roof-mounted entertainment system with 17-inch display
    • 16-inch Mickey Thompson wheels and tinted windows

Its headlights are slightly dimmed, and the underbelly is starting to show signs of rust.

The nearly 30-year-old van is also showing signs of its age in the driving cabin.

The AC unit in the front needs repair , while the power windows can’t currently control the digital motors.

The seller said in the listing that the repairs could be made.

Ye owned the vehicle between April 2023 and January 2024.

Bidding for Ye’s old van is expected to close on August 7.
