Dad’s Daily Greeting From 10 Newfies and a Pony Is a Picture of Happiness

I used to be the "one pet is enough" kind of person, but after we ended up with multiple creatures living under our roof, I'm a changed woman. Somehow, we started with one cat and now have two cats, a dog, and a tortoise, but I couldn't be happier. Our house is filled with so much love, and while it can be a lot of work, it's also a lot of fun. Now, I totally understand why people want to adopt plenty of dogs, cats, or other pets; it makes life a lot more entertaining!

But even with that new mindset, this video on Instagram is still a bit mind blowing. This man has a lot of animals, and the greeting he gets from them shows just how much they all love him.

This video was shared by @big_dogs_small horse , and that username is accurate. Here, we can see what it's like when 10 of his dogs (no, that's not all of his dogs), a pony, and a sheep all rush over to see him. And since the dogs are Newfoundland pups , these are big animals!

As soon as they see him, they're rushing over to the gate, and once he's through, he's greeted with dogs jumping and loving all over him. They're so excited he's there!

"What does it look like to live with 17 dogs, a couple of sheep and a pony when daddy gets home? Organized chaos of home," he wrote in his caption.

While this definitely has to be a little overwhelming, many people in the comments shared their jealousy, and one person even said it looks like "heaven."

Caring for this many animals isn't for everyone, but there's no denying that it must be a lot of fun, too.
