    30-year-old man arrested, served multiple warrants after reported robbery at store

    GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 30-year-old man was arrested and served multiple warrants by the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office following a reported robbery at a store.

    At around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a robbery at the Fas Mart located at 1700 Ashland Road.

    According to officials, witnesses reported that a white male entered the store and demanded money from the register while pointing a concealed object in his clothing. The man then grabbed an item from the counter and left the scene in a Honda SUV.

    Responding deputies located the Honda and the subject in the area of the robbery. As a result of the investigation, the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Spencer Reed Tibbs, of Manakin-Sabot, and served him with a felony warrant for robbery, as well as outstanding warrants out of Henrico County.

    According to authorities, Tibbs is being held in jail without bond. More charges are pending as this is an ongoing investigation.
