Niskayuna boys lacrosse blows out CBA, en route to Class B final

NISKAYUNA, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Silver Warriors’ offense ran past the Brothers’ defense in a 21-2 sectional semifinal win Friday night. Nisky opened the first quarter on a 9-1 run with goals from John Mooney, Jackson Massaroni, George Angelopoulos and Dillon Licht.

Mooney scored six goals on the day, and not too far behind him was Licht, who netted five. At halftime, Nisky led 17-1, and scored four more goals in the second half to seal the win and advance to the Class B championship game.

The Silver Warriors will face second-seeded Bethlehem for the section title on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Shaker High School.
