    Crash in Winona injures four people from Westby

    WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) -- A family from Westby suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a Winona crash Thursday evening.

    According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a southbound sedan and northbound SUV collided on Highway 61 at Gilmore Avenue. The crash happened at 6:39 p.m.

    Five people, all from Westby, were in the SUV. Four out of five are listed as having non-life-threatening injuries:

    • 55-year-old Thomas Falter
    • 22-year-old Agnes Falter
    • A 15-year-old female
    • 57-year-old Diane Falter

    The fifth passenger, 18-year-old John Falter was not injured. All were wearing seat belts, according to MSP

    A 16-year-old female driver and 43-year-old Sarah Macdonald of Rochester, Minnesota were in the Sedan. Both were wearing seat belts and were uninjured.

    The injured parties were taken to Winona Health for treatment.
