Winona Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Sextortion Targeting Over 60 Girls Aged 9-12
A Winona man has entered a guilty plea on federal sextortion charges, as reported by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. The man, Valentin Silva Quintana, 30, is currently awaiting sentencing following his admission to orchestrating an online scheme that targeted over 60 young girls, with his victims predominantly aged between 9 and 12 years. Quintana’s strategy involved feigning friendship or romantic interest to earn the trust of these girls before manipulating them into providing increasingly explicit images.
Multi-vehicle crashes injured four Sunday in SE Minnesota
KIMT-TV 3 NEWS – Several multi-vehicle accidents Sunday in southeast Minnesota injured a total of four people. The first happened around 3:59 pm on Interstate 35 in Rice County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup pulling a camper, two SUVs, and a car were all southbound in a two-lane construction zone near mile marker 55 when they crashed.
