Annual Parade of Homes showcases new construction

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- An annual event for homeowners and home lovers alike was in La Crosse.

The La Crosse Area Builders Association hosted the 48th annual Parade of Homes Saturday.

The event aims to raise money to support the building industry and provide college scholarships.

The event featured a showroom and 11 newly constructed homes across La Crosse, Onalaska and Holmen.

Attendees could tour homes, talk to local builders and learn about different home designs.

The showroom owner said the best part is connecting with people about their homes, especially those who might reconsider their choices in the coming years.

"Being able to interact with people and hear what they're looking for, what they're doing, what they are building or just over all what the market looks like for projects coming in the coming years," said Justin Snyder, showroom owner, Parade of Homes.

If you could not attend Saturday's event, there is another opportunity Sunday starting at 10 a.m.
