Flags at half-staff to honor former Wisconsin State Rep.

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Flags were flying at half-staff across Wisconsin Thursday, honoring former State Rep. James Soletski.

Services for Soletski were held Thursday afternoon in Green Bay with flags remaining lowered from sunrise to sunset.

Gov. Tony Evers ordered the tribute for Soletski, who died last Tuesday at age 75. He served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the Green Bay area.

As a lifelong Wisconsinite, he had a 20-year career in the energy industry before entering politics.
