However, Rune is a player with a world of variety, and it feels like he doesn’t quite know the best way to win matches. That small difference in approach should give Berrettini an edge in this Masters 1000 tilt.

According to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic, the Arizona Diamondbacks have optioned center fielder Alek Thomas to Triple-A Reno on Wednesday. He will return to the minors for the time since he was last sent there in May of 2023.
