Developer Hello Games has announced the release of the 5.1 “Aquarius” update for No Man’s Sky. The update includes Fishing, new cooking recipes, a new deep-sea diving suit, the Aquarius Flight Pack, and more. It also includes a variety of bug fixes and quality of life additions. An update trailer was also released. No Man’s Sky is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.

Publisher GameMill Entertainment and developer Bamtang Games have announced that Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports will launch on September 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. A basketball featurette trailer was also released. In the game, you “compete against friends and family with the Looney Tunes squad in basketball, soccer, golf and tennis.”

Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer NetherRealms have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 expansion, Khaos Reigns. The trailer highlights the Kombat Pack 2 character Sektor and showcases her role in the narrative, her moves and combos, voice lines, and more. Khaos Reigns will launch on September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Kombat Pack 2 DLC characters include Conan from Conan The Barbarian, Ghostface from the Scream franchise, T-1000 from the Terminator franchise, Sektor, Cyrax, and Noob Saibot. New animal based Fatalities called Animalities will also be released. The Khaos Reigns expansion will include both new story chapters and the Kombat Pack 2. A different bundle with the story expansion and Kombat Pack 1 will also be released.

90 minutes of Silent Hill 2 remake gameplay from the Japanese YouTube channel 2BRO has been released via a recent livestream. The commentary video shows gameplay from the beginning of the game. The video showcases several explorable buildings, enemies, weapons, story cutscenes, and more. Silent Hill 2 will launch on October 8 PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Tokyo Game Show 2024 will run from September 26 to 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. It will feature several publishers including Capcom and Ryu Ga Gotoku studio which will reveal its next game at the event.

Following the recent leak of Sony’s highly rumored and anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro console, the publisher has seemingly confirmed the leak. In the recently released image celebrating the upcoming 30th Anniversary for PlayStation, an outline of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which looks like the leaked concept image can be spotted. While hard to spot, the outline can be seen amongst other PlayStation devices. According to prominent leaker billbil-kun, the console will have “the same white color” consistent with previous models, will be larger than the slim and will have three “black stripes” on the panels this time. Additionally, the console will reportedly not have a disc drive, at least according to the leaker’s design image, but will have the same DualSense controllers the standard PlayStation 5 has. Lastly, the report also reveals that the console will be announced “very soon” possibly in “the first half of September”.
