TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man and woman who had won a jackpot at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida, were shot and robbed after two men followed them to a home, according to court records.

The man and woman were at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Aug. 2 when they had won a large prize from a slot machine, according to a motion for pretrial detention. The pair was allegedly followed to a Riverview home by two men, later identified as Marcus Jenkins, 34, and Tristin Wright, 36.

As the two got to the home, Jenkins was allegedly seen on doorbell camera footage shooting at them. The woman was hit in the calf. The man was hit in his right thigh and left knee.

One of the suspects covered up the doorbell camera with his hand while the other could reportedly be heard demanding the victim take off his watch. Jenkins and Wright got away with the man’s watch and the woman’s purse, court records show.

Deputies reviewed surveillance footage from the casino, which showed Jenkins on his phone while following the two to the parking lot, according to court records. Jenkins was allegedly seen getting into a Hyundai Sonata, which then followed the man and woman to the Riverview home.

A third person, who has not been identified, was driving the car, according to court records.
