Man Arrested for Unprovoked Attack Outside Miami Winn-Dixie

Miami, FL - A 35-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday after randomly punching a person in the face outside of a South Florida Winn-Dixie grocery store.

According to the Miami Police Department, Nathan Ulseth was apprehended following a report of a battery incident at the store located at 1150 NW 54th Street.

Initial reports indicate that Ulseth approached the victim without provocation and punched him in the face.

Witnesses at the scene intervened to prevent further escalation and provided statements to police corroborating the victim's account.

Surveillance footage from the store is also being reviewed to gather additional evidence.

The victim sustained facial injuries as a result of the assault.

Ulseth was arrested and charged with battery.

Following his arrest, Ulseth was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital to address a claimed arm injury.

It is unclear if the injury is related to the incident.

The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
