A Tale From The Trenches: Prurient Interests, Book One, by author Luke J. Hayes, Esq. of Detroit, is the latest release from NFB Publishing of Buffalo. This book is the first story in a new gritty crime drama and legal thriller anthology series from Hayes called Prurient Interests. This tale depicts an addict and recklessly successful trial attorney who is compelled to lose all of his cases by a corrupt city councilman. But after the attorney unearths the formidable skeletons in the councilman’s closet, he questions if the dirt the councilman has on him is truly worth covering.

This a big year for Train. Even though there wasn’t a new album released, the band continues to stay busy. They are getting ready to release a new DVD called ‘Train Live at Royal Albert Hall’ on July 26. They just celebrated their 15th anniversary of ‘Save Me, San Francisco’ a few weeks ago. They also sold out their ‘Sail Across the Sun’ cruise back in March. Lastly, the band is currently on tour with Reo Speedwagon and Yacht Rock Revue. They took a detour from that tour to headline their own show at Artpark in Lewiston, NY this past Friday. This was the bands first appearance at Artpark.

Gilmour girls lacrosse: Makenna Crouse to continue her career at Canisius
Makenna Crouse took a chance when she stepped onto the lacrosse field for Gilmour as a senior this past spring. But the New York native needed little time to turn heads. In her first game against West Geauga, she recorded five goals and created 19 ground balls. Crouse finished the season with 90 goals, 25 assists, 143 ground balls, 40 takeaways and 158 draw control wins.
