The Sports Report: James Hinkle delivers third win of the season in Norwalk
For most racers, a single NHRA national event win is enough to constitute a successful season, so that means that three wins in less than a half season would be considered extraordinary. That’s exactly the position that James Hinkle finds himself in after winning the Right Trailers Top Sportsman title at last weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - For some, this is just a race. Some may be running their first, others their 10th, but few hold a candle to the legacy of David Hartsek. “Today I’ve been blessed to complete my 40th consecutive run in the Bluegrass 10,000,” shared Hartsek. It...

West Virginia and Arizona State are among the other schools that offered Atkins a scholarship. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Big...
Tristin Dillard cleared for play at CCHS by KHSAA… @CoachAtchley @AlPopsFootball @ColonelFootball @ReallyTristin @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank
’27 RB left MS listed among the top three (3) at his position in KY according to FBU. Tristin Dillard was born to carry a football. He has played it at all of the levels of football at which he has competed to date. His brothers played RB. His uncle (Mack Dillard) was a star RB for the Colonels of Christian County in his day. If you believe RBs are born and not taught, and we have seen very good proof of this, Tristin Dillard is the running-back for whom your heart has been pining. He is built low to the ground, hard to find in an offensive backfield, has plenty of speed, burst, and explosion, and has excelled at the position since first playing there in the “Bud Hudson Junior Pro League.” Dillard is an accomplished second and third level defender too. This is a tremendous add for the Colonels in the midst of a rebuild.

BOZICH & CRAWFORD | Betting college football season win totals for U of L, UK, IU, WKU, more
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Legalized sports betting landed in Kentucky last season but the college football season had already started. The last eight words of that sentence are critical. The delay in opening the sports books made it impossible for in-state patrons to indulge in one of the most enjoyable wagers on the football board:
