Morning Earthquake Shakes Parts of Upstate New York
A morning earthquake shook parts of Upstate New York. Did you feel it? It struck just north of the Adirondack Mountains over the Canadian border. There have been more than 550 earthquakes in New York State. The first one struck the New York City area on December 18, 1737, with a magnitude of 5.2. It's one of two damaging quakes to hit the Big Apple.

The Oak Ridge Boys, the legendary country / gospel band, have had a tough 2023 and 2024. Longtime members Duane Allen, who joined in 1966; William Lee, who joined in 1965; and Richard Sterban, who joined in 1972, were set to celebrate 50 years of performing together with Joe Bonsall, who joined in 1973. Unfortunately late last year Bonsall had to leave behind his touring days and begin his well-deserved retirement. He sadly died earlier this summer, but his memories live on thanks to the enthralling music he and the Boys created over the years.

Serial fraudster who once stole $22K from Syracuse non-profit sent to prison
ALBANY — Former political consultant, restaurateur and serial fraudster Scott Solomon was sentenced to 13 months in federal prison on Thursday on two counts of bank fraud.
