Rensselaer Announces City and Summer Jam Concert Series
The city of Rensselaer, NY, has two separate concert series on tap this summer. The first, the Rensselaer City Concert Series, began on June 17 and will last until July 29 at Riverfront Park. The second, the Summer Jam Concert Series, began on June 26 and will last until August 7 at the North End Firehouse on Washington Avenue. Each concert for both series is weekly from 6 pm to 8 pm. Two hospitalized after Albany Police say fight leads to stabbing
ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Albany Police are investigating a stabbing incident that sent two men to the hospital Thursday. According to a release, officers responded to the area of Central Avenue and Lexington Avenue for reports of an individual who had been stabbed, at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday. There, authorities said they found a 37-year-old man with a laceration to his arm. He was reportedly treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
