Bowling Green Commission Punts Decision On Selling Land Until July
The City of Bowling Green has received several bids for its unused acreage it was reported at the June 11 meeting of the Bowling Green City Commission. City Manager Pam Durrance said Sebastian Garcia of Gainesville bid $300,000 for the city's 34 acres west of Avion Palms and wanted to build 8 houses and 8 duplexes. Saul Delgado bid $50,000 for the city's 9 acres south of the wastewater treatment plant for H-2A housing and Anita Avales bid $70,000 for the property for two family homes to be built there.
