    Police: 75-year-old woman robbed of purse in parking lot of North Haven restaurant

    NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A 75-year-old woman was robbed of her purse in a restaurant parking lot Tuesday evening in North Haven, according to police.

    Police responded around 5 p.m. to the parking lot of Longhorn Steakhouse on Universal Drive for the report of a purse snatching.

    Officers found that a 75-year-old woman had her purse snatched from her while walking in the lot, which police said caused her to fall to the ground.

    The suspect vehicle was found unoccupied a short time later in Hamden, according to police.
