North Kingstown Wickford outlasts Bristol-Warren

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — North Kingstown beats Bristol-Warren to win the 2024 Rhode Island state title.

In every game during the tournament, North Kingstown jumped on their opponents early. The championship game was no different.

North Kingstown had a 4-0 lead in the first inning but Bristol-Warren would tie it at 4 by the 3rd inning. This was a well-played game where both teams made great plays.

The pitching was outstanding down the stretch and it took 9 innings to settle it.
