Today the AWESOME hails from Wichita. I’m talking about YouTube star MrBeast. He’s known for his charitable initiatives and giving. He had funded surgeries, given away homes, planted 20-million trees and more. Now, he took his talents to the oceans of the world. He announced this week that his TeamSeas initiative has successfully removed over 34-million pounds of trash from the ocean. The project, launched by MrBeast and fellow YouTuber Mark Rober in October 2021, aimed to raise $30-million to remove 30-million pounds of trash from the world’s oceans and rivers. Two days ago, MrBeast shared that TeamSeas exceeded their goal, removing 34,080,191 pounds of trash from oceans worldwide.
