Northbridge 3, Northborough 0: Joe McKeown allowed one hit and struck out nine in six innings and also singled, drove in a run and scored for Post 343 (5-8), which scored three runs in the bottom of the first while blanking Post 234 (4-8) at Northbridge Middle School.

Northbridge's Greg Piette went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run and Brady Hubert singled and scored.

Main South 8, Cherry Valley 0: Brady Fenner hurled a four-hit shutout and batterymate Braden McLoughlin went 3 for 4 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases for Main South (3-7), which opened a two-day home-and-home series with Cherry Valley (1-10) with a triumph at Tivnan Field.

Fenner did not walk a batter and notched five strikeouts in a 79-pitch performance and was aided by an inside-the-park homer from Caden Lane and two hits each from Jack Beauregard and brother Cam Fenner.

Jacob Delvalle doubled for Cherry Valley.

PNJ Senior Ruth

Tatnuck 9, Vernon Hill 2: Joe Fritze and Aiden Murphy each went 2 for 4 with two runs to lift Tatnuck at Quinsigamond Community College.

Tatnuck's Jeff Guzman was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a run, while Dale Nussey, Chris Palermo and Nick Sharry all drove in two runs.

Isaac Swedberg scored on a fielder's choice in the top of the seventh for Vernon Hill, and Riley Landry singled in Ty Goodrich later in the inning.
