Kayla Waskow announces promotion of Macenzie Kraemer to top assistant
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College women's basketball head coach Kayla Waskow announced earlier this week the promotion of Macenzie Kraemer to the program's top assistant coaching position. A 2023-24 coaching staff member, Kraemer was a part of the recruiting and on-court practice efforts while working directly with the guards. Kraemer graduated from Loras College in 2020 after a decorated playing career, earning all-American honors in 2020 as she led the Duhawks to the DIII Sweet Sixteen. Mackenzie served as a high school assistant coach at Center Point Urbana in 2022-23 before joining the Coe staff last season.
John Payan announces Mark Lowe as top assistant
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College men's basketball head coach John Payan announced the promotion of Mark Lowe earlier this week, naming Lowe as his top assistant. Lowe served as an assistant for the Kohawks in 2023-24, helping with player development, home game support and practice management.
