    The Oakville Winegrowers announce their Taste of Oakville experience exclusively for consumers to take place from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Opus One Winery—located at 7900 St Helena Hwy, Oakville, CA. Since 1996, Oakville Winegrowers’ Taste of Oakville event for the wine trade has been hailed as the best wine tasting event by restaurateurs, retailers, and sommeliers from the Bay Area and beyond. For the first time ever, this esteemed collection of wineries, lauded by critics and collectors alike, is opening up this experience to wine aficionados with more than 40 producers to participate.

    We are thrilled to welcome our consumer friends to this extraordinary tasting for the first time ,” shared Joyce Stavert, Oakville Winegrowers Executive Director. “ We are grateful to Opus One Winery for opening their doors to us. We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful setting to enjoy this diverse and delicious selection of wines from our Oakville vintners .”

    Ideal for fans of Napa Valley wines looking for a deeper understanding of one of the most important appellations in the world, the Taste of Oakville consumer experience is $325 per person . Anticipated to sellout, tickets are on sale now through Sunday, April 21, 2024 or until capacity is reached.

    " Since joining the Oakville Winegrowers in 2005, becoming a board member in 2010, and being appointed President of the association in 2021, I have been amazed at the sense of community promoting excellence in winegrowing that exists in Oakville with my fellow vintners ,” remarked Barry Waitte, Vintner and Proprietor of Tamber Bey Vineyards. “ There is a way of supporting one another that Robert Mondavi started in the 1960’s that we still carry within Oakville today. We are pleased to be able to share our wines with our customers at this wonderful tasting event .”
