18-year-old woman killed in Route 531 crash identified

An 18-year-old Holley woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 531 in Ogden on Tuesday. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday identified the driver as Angelena K. Golisano.

Deputies responded to Route 531 between Union and Washington streets at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday for the crash.

Deputies said a preliminary investigation showed two cars were traveling eastbound on Route 531 when they collided, causing one car to go off the south side of the road. The second car crossed the median into the westbound lane of Route 531, where it collided with a pickup truck traveling westbound.

Golisano, who was the driver and sole occupant of the second car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
