    OKCPD warns of Facebook scam using name of fallen officer

    OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) — The Oklahoma City Police Department is warning residents of a scam on Facebook regarding a fallen OKCPD officer.

    Authorities say they were made aware of the scam regarding a Facebook group that is asking for donations in the name of officer Greyson Fox. The group page provides several links for donation’s and a funeral service live stream that OKCPD advises not to click on.

    Officer Greyson Fox tragically passed away on July 1 when his body was found in Lake Stanley Draper after authorities were called for a reported possible drowning .

    OKCPD says they have reported the page to Facebook.
