Michigan is coming off another key win on the recruiting trail. But of course, Michigan fans are already thinking about the next man up.

So who are some other 2025 prospects that could jump on board early and continue to build the momentum? Here are five candidates.

WR Andrew Marsh , Katy (Texas) Jordan

Michigan gained a commanding lead for Marsh on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine following his official visit for Victors Weekend in June. Marsh returned to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House and is now set to make his decision on Aug. 20. I still feel confident in my pick and believe the Wolverines will win out later this month. Kentucky and Washington are two others still in this race. However, all signs point to Michigan ahead of his announcement. The Top 100 prospect would be a big win for wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy.

WR Jerome Myles , Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon

Myles is the least likely recruit on this list and is expected to take his decision in the fall. However, he’s one of just a handful of remaining top targets, and Michigan made a strong move on his visit for the BBQ at The Big House a couple of weeks ago. Utah is considered the heavy favorite on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, but Myles is keeping an open mind, releasing a top schools list that also featured Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, USC and others. A lot will be determined on fall official visits.

OL Andrew Babalola , Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest

Stanford has the heavy lead for Babalola on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, Michigan did a great job of closing the gap throughout the summer. This was considered more of a 50/50 race just last week. However, Babalola has continued to give favorable quotes about Stanford in recent interviews, and Auburn, which has gone very NIL heavy this cycle, has suddenly become more of a player in this race. Babalola is expected to make a decision at some point in the next couple of days. I’m probably avoiding a pick here.

LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng , Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Michigan made a power move for Owusu-Boateng on his official visit for Victors Weekend in June. The Wolverines passed up programs like Ohio State and USC and are right at the top of the list with Notre Dame. Owusu-Boateng’s older brother did play for the Irish, but the Top 100 prospect may want to blaze his own trail. And it’s clear he loves the Michigan staff and sees himself as a perfect scheme fit. With all this said, Owusu-Boateng is taking his decision into the fall and wants to see programs like Florida and Texas. It seems like we still have a ling way to go in this race — though, Owusu-Boateng said an announcement could come at any time.

K Scott Starzyk , The Woodlands (Texas) High

Ranked as the No. 4 kicker in the country, Starzyk committed to Iowa in July. However, Michigan recently extended an offer and would love to add him to the class. It will be interesting to see if Michigan can get Starzyk up to Ann Arbor for a visit this fall. New special teams coordinator JB Brown is originally from Texas and can connect with Starzyk on a personal level. Brown is continuing the tradition of investing in special teams, and Starzyk has risen up at the top specialist on the board.
