After taking a break for nearly a month the WNBA season resumes on Thursday. Catch up on all the former Gamecocks and find out how to watch their games.

    Atlanta Dream (7-17)
Laeticia Amihere (11 games, 4.7 minutes, 1.2 pts, 1.9 rebs)
Amihere was disappointed by Canada’s 0-3 record in Paris, but in a way, she got the best of both worlds: an Olympic experience and some rest.

    Allisha Gray (24 games (24 starts), 32.4 mpg, 15.5 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.0 spg)
The WNBA’s best shooter and most skilled player, Gray got a much-deserved break.

    Upcoming games:
Friday, August 16 vs Seattle (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 vs Connecticut (3:00 ET, ESPN3/League Pass)

    Chicago Sky (10-14)
    Kamilla Cardoso (18 games (15 starts), 26.2 mpg, 8.1 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.1 bpg)
Cardoso used her break to vacation with Adhel Tac. They went to New York and then returned to Chicago to watch the Cubs and White Sox. Now she turns her focus to the season’s stretch run.

    Upcoming games:
Thursday, August 15 vs Phoenix (8:00 ET, Amazon Prime)
Saturday, August 17 at Los Angeles (5:00 ET, League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 at Phoenix (9:00 ET, League Pass)

    Connecticut Sun (18-6)
    Ty Harris (23 games (23 starts), 30.4 mpg, 11.0 ppg, 3.2 apg, 1.8 rpg, 1.1 spg)
Right before the break, Connecticut acquired Marina Mabrey from Chicago. She should help take some of the perimeter scoring load off of Harris.

Tiffany Mitchell (24 games, 16.3 mpg, 4.9 ppg, 1.5 rpg)
Mitchell has not returned to the Sun following the break. She is out with an undisclosed illness.

    Upcoming games:
Friday, August 16 at Dallas (9:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 at Atlanta (3:00 ET, ESPN3/League Pass)

    Indiana Fever (11-15)
    Aliyah Boston (26 games (26 starts), 30.4 mpg, 14.2 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.5 bpg)
Perhaps no team needed the extended break more than Indiana. The Fever had to learn how to play together on the fly, and the break gave Indiana some valuable practice time. In her last game before the break, Boston scored a career-high 28 points. That capped off a hot streak that she hopes will carry over.

Victaria Saxton (6 games, 2.2 mpg, 0.5 ppg, 0.2 rpg)
Saxton used the break to visit Coney Island.

    Upcoming games:
Friday, August 16 vs Phoenix (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 vs Seattle (3:30 ET, ABC)

    Las Vegas Aces (16-8)
    A’ja Wilson (24 games (24 starts), 34.2 mpg, 27.2 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 2.4 apg, 2.9 bpg, 1.9 spg)
No rest for the weary. Wilson tweeted Monday that she was looking forward to her Olympic break. At least the Aces don’t play until Saturday, but it’s a tough turnaround for a team that had five players participate in the Olympics.

    Upcoming games:
Saturday, August 17 vs New York (4:00 ET, CBS)
Sunday, August 18 vs Los Angeles (6:00 ET, League Pass)

    Los Angeles Sparks (6-18)
    Zia Cooke (20 games, 9.2 mpg, 3.4 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.7 apg)
During the break, Cooke was a commentator at the Overtime Select game in Atlanta. The break was probably good for her after an inconsistent first part of the season.

    Upcoming games:
Thursday, August 15 vs New York (9:00 ET, ESPN)
Saturday, August 17 vs Chicago (5:00 ET, League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 at Las Vegas (6:00 ET, League Pass)

    Phoenix Mercury (13-12)
    Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (19 games (3 starts), 12.1 mpg, 2.9 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.5 bpg, 0.6 spg)
Herbert Harrigan’s playing time has fluctuated throughout the first part of the season. With Brittney Griner coming off the Olympics, Phoenix may lean on Herbert Harrigan a little more this weekend while Griner recuperates.

    Upcoming games:
Thursday, August 15 at Chicago (8:00 ET, Amazon Prime)
Friday, August 16 at Indiana (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 18 vs Chicago (9:00 ET, League Pass)

    Unsigned
    Brea Beal
Las Vegas cut Beal early in training camp.

Alaina Coates (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 8.0 minutes, 3.0 pts, 1.0 reb, 1.0 block)
Coates got a long look in Seattle but didn’t fit in with the Storm’s rebuild. She’s got lots of experience, though, and will probably be one of the first calls for any team that needs post depth for the stretch run.

Kaela Davis (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 14.0 minutes, 1.5 points, 3.5 rebs)
Davis was hoping to show she was fully recovered from an Achilles injury, but she didn’t do enough to convince Seattle.

    Destanni Henderson (6 games, 17.5 mpg, 4.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.5 apg)
Henderson was productive in a two-week stint for Atlanta but was released on Thursday, July 18. That was a given with her seven-day contract about to end and the season on hiatus. The question is whether she will get picked up for the second half.
