    Ole Miss’ Micah Pettus donates NIL money towards new uniforms for Tennessee Valley Prep

    Ole Miss right tackle Micah Pettus is using a portion of his NIL money to give back to his home region of North Alabama with new uniforms for the Tennessee Valley Prep football team.

    Tennessee Valley Prep Sports Academy (TVPSA) announced the news on Friday with a video that showcased the new uniforms that were purchased with the aid of Pettus and Culture 57. The donation totaled over $10,000 to help in getting two new sets of uniforms.

    “The Tennessee Valley Prep football wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to Micah Pettus & Culture 57’s generous donation of new football uniforms,” a statement from the team read. “Your support means the world to our team, and your contribution has not only boosted our confidence but also our pride in representing TVPSA. Thank you for making a lasting impact on our athletes and our Tennessee Valley community.”

    Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Tennessee Valley Prep is a post-graduate academic and athletic provides a second opportunity for student-athletes to earn scholarships.

    Pettus played high school football at James Clemens in Madison, Alabama, which is about 25 minutes west of Huntsville.

    The new uniforms will be on display on Sunday as Tennessee Valley opens up its 2024 season against the Haywood Crusaders in Brownsville, Tennessee.

    The Ole Miss senior offensive lineman is getting ready for his junior season with the No. 6-ranked Rebels, who open their season on Saturday against Furman at 6 p.m. CT.
