Cedar Rapids woman reportedly found at Lake MacBride State Park with drug paraphernalia, stolen weapon in her car
A Cedar Rapids woman was reportedly found with drug paraphernalia and a stolen weapon in her car while at a park near Solon. A DNR officer reports seeing an open container and a marijuana grinder inside a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe parked at Lake MacBride State Park just after 7:00 Saturday night. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up more open containers, drug paraphernalia, a scale with white powder on it, and a gun that was later determined to be stolen.

A gas leak in Galesburg has closed the area of Summer and Matthews Streets. Buildings within a one-block area will be evacuated out of an abundance of caution. Barricades will be placed to keep traffic out of the area. Residents are advised to please avoid the area until the gas leak has been fixed, which may take several hours, possibly into the evening hours.
