If you're a Harry Potter fan, head to Orange this week for the Return to Hogwarts event
The town of Orange will transform itself into Hogwarts and the world of Harry Potter this week, possibly for the last time. Harry Potter franchise fans from all around the country travel to Orange for the five-day immersive Wizard World experience, Return to Hogwarts, in late July. This year, the event begins Wednesday, July 24, and ends Sunday, July 28. As many as a dozen local Orange businesses decorate their stores as a place from the Harry Potter book and movie series.
Tito’s Taqueria pays Department of Labor $124k in back wages
GREENFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Tito’s Taqueria is paying the Department of Labor 124-thousand dollars in back wages, withheld tips, and liquidated damages. The Greenfield restaurant, which also has locations in Keene, New Hampshire and Brattleboro, Vermont illegally required its employees to share a portion of their tips with managers.
Replacement project closes South Street bridge in Montague till 2025
MONTAGUE, Mass. (WWLP) – The South Street bridge in Montague Center will be closed for an estimated one year due to a bridge replacement project. According to the Town of Montague, the South Street bridge closed on Monday is expected to re-open to pedestrian and vehicle traffic by June 2025. The bridge replacement project is overseen by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the construction will be performed by Tully Construction Corp.
