    Illinois man identified as victim of fatal weekend fall at Starved Rock

    The LaSalle County Coroner's Office has identified the man who died Saturday from a fall at Starved Rock State Park in Ottawa as Albert Cramer, 38, of Oswego.

    The fall happened at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Illinois Canyon, one of the park's 18 gorges.

    Preliminary results of a forensic autopsy indicated Cramer died of fatal injuries sustained from the fall. No foul play is suspected.

    The incident is under further investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, Illinois Conservation Police Department and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
