Arnold man arrested after allegedly trying to destroy meth
A 31-year-old Arnold man was arrested after allegedly trying to destroy suspected methamphetamine after a car he was traveling in was stopped by Arnold Police. The driver, a 41-year-old Barnhart man, also was arrested because he was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for five misdemeanor warrants, police reported.

Eureka Police arrest man for alleged assault at Six Flags
Eureka Police arrested a 32-year-old St. Louis man who allegedly injured a woman while running away from Six Flags employees who believed he stole something from one of the shops at the amusement park, 4900 Six Flags Road. Eureka Police arrested an 18-year-old East St. Louis man for allegedly assaulting a Six Flags security officer, a 26-year-old Litchfield man who also is a Mount Olive Police officer, at the amusement park, 4900 Six Flags Road. Fire demolishes vacant Dittmer mobile home
Cedar Hill Fire Protection District crews put out a fire on Monday, July 1 that demolished a vacant mobile home in the 6900 block of Deer Run Road in Dittmer. Assistant Fire Chief David Jones said crews arrived on the scene at 8:19 p.m., and the fire was under control about 15 minutes later.
