Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center to celebrate Global Tiger Day this Saturday
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Tigers are always a major attraction at the Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center but they will have their own special day this coming Saturday. The Topeka Zoo, located at 635 S.W. They’re hoping to raise $25,000 in 24 hours. “We have lots of things that the money goes to support such as our animal care and enrichment areas, our education areas, it’ll support our conservation and sustainability initiatives and it will help support some of our future exhibits,” said Topeka Zoo Director of Development Cynthia McCarvel.

This yearly tradition features horse-drawn carriage rides, a dunk tank, wood block branding, western style photos and more. It’s Saturday July 27, 10am-3pm.
