    Oxford’s “Second Friday on Main” Event Kicks Off on July 12th

    Oxford, AL – Mark your calendars for “Second Friday on Main,” a lively event happening on the second Friday of each month from May to September 2024. The next event will take place on July 12, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Simmons Park, located at 400 Main Street, Oxford, AL 36203. This free event promises a fun-filled evening for all ages with a variety of activities and entertainment.

    Attendees can look forward to an array of mobile food vendors, including Chicken Salad Chick, Kona Ice, Taco Tuesday, and The Classic Melt. Art enthusiasts will enjoy browsing through the works of talented art vendors such as Absolutely E Creation, Ashley Nicole Art, Christine Z Wise Art, Cicada’s Song Studio, Debbie’s Designs, Kpritchett Design, and The Crimson Building.

    Live music will be provided by the Highway 77 Band from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., creating a festive atmosphere for the evening. The event also features a captivating car show organized by the Choccolocco Cruise-In, hosted by Hartwell Masonic Lodge at 600 Main Street.

    For families, the Kids’ Activity Zone will offer a range of activities including a bounce house, lawn games, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles. Downtown shopping and dining will also be available, making it a perfect opportunity to explore Oxford’s local businesses.
