Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins Laughs in Response to Ole Miss Prediction

Ohio State Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins transferred from the Ole Miss Rebels this offseason. It made a big splash.

Judkins' parting of ways with Ole Miss left a vacated spot at running back. The Rebels went to the transfer portal to find a replacement.

Ole Miss added four running backs in the portal in Rashad Amos of Miami (Ohio) , Logan Diggs ( LSU ), Henry Parish ( Miami ) and Domonique Thomas ( Georgia State ).

Amos is seeing plenty of praise from Ole Miss faithful. He shared a prediction that suggested Amos could be a quality replacement for Quinshon Judkins. Two days later, Judkins reposted the reaction with a laughing response on social media.

It's uncertain what happened with the Ohio State transfer and Ole Miss, but it appears he doesn't believe he will be easy to replace.

To be sure, both Ohio State and Ole Miss are set up to make the College Football Playoff this season. While both have questions, neither team has glaring deficiencies.

Judkins is among the best running backs in college football, maybe the best. Nevertheless, Ole Miss should function well offensively in 2024.

If you're going to lack anywhere on offense, it's perhaps better to lack at running back than elsewhere in modern college football.

The Rebels still might not lack at running back with Amos and company. They certainly won't be deficient elsewhere.

Ole Miss projects to have among the best quarterbacks ( Jaxson Dart ) and offensive lines in the country with wide receivers Tre Harris and Juice Wells complimenting tight end Caden Prieskorn on the outside.

Ole Miss kicks off the season with Furman on Aug. 31.
