North Oconee baseball rising senior Noah Allen committed to Ole Miss on Tuesday.

The right-handed pitcher re-opened his recruitment in mid-April, backing off a verbal pledge to Georgia that he made in October 2023 following the Bulldogs' coaching shift. He'll be remaining in the SEC, after receiving offers from all across the country, including the Big 12 and ACC.

He made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), captioning it, "All Glory to God!"

Allen is at a church retreat in North Carolina according to new Titan head coach Eric Bounds and was unavailable for comment at the publishing of this story.

Ole Miss went 27-29 overall and 11-19 in conference during the 2024 season, ending on a 2-1 loss to Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament. They did not make the NCAA Tournament.

North Oconee will be led by a new coach in Bounds this season, who took over after former coach Jay Lasley left to work an international player development position in the Dominican Republic with the Miami Marlins organization. Bounds was part of Lasley's crew for nine years. The Titans went 28-9 overall and 15-4 in region during the 2024 season, ending on a 2-0 series loss to Starr's Mill in the GHSA state semifinals.

    This story will be updated.
