Top Ole Miss target and 2025 four-star is set to announce his college decision on Monday

Ole Miss is coming off of a massive weekend as some of the nation's most highly touted recruits flocked to Oxford for Juice Fest.

The annual event named after head coach Lane Kiffin's dog, Juice, helped the Rebels gain plenty of ground in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles. Ole Miss started off the weekend on a positive note by landing a commitment from three-star linebacker Corey Amos , but also appeared to have reassert itself in the battle for an in-state prospect.

Four-star wideout Dillon Alfred re-opened his recruitment earlier this summer after having been pledged to Ole Miss for a few months. Alfred was one of the key cogs that jumped ship in a mini recruiting exodus this summer that left many Rebels fans scratching their heads.

Alfred, who attends Saraland High School in Alabama is originally from Gautier, Miss., making him a key recruit for Kiffin and Co. In 2023, Alfred racked up 35 receptions for 586 yards and six touchdowns after transferring. Even more impressive, in his sophomore season in Mississippi, the speedy wideout totaled 58 catches for 1,310 yards and a whopping 16 touchdowns.

It's been reported that Clemson has closed the gap on Kiffin and the Rebs. Alfred was a busy man this weekend as he took a trip to visit Dabo Swinney and the Tigers, but made a stop at Juice Fest to put a bow on his travels. For Alfred to finish up his trip in Oxford likely gave Kiffin and his staff an opportunity to make a strong push and help him forget about his time spent at Clemson.

Alfred is set to announce his college decision on Monday, so the No. 59 wide receiver per On3's Industry Rankings would provide a huge boost to Ole Miss' 2025 class. The Rebels currently check in at No. 27 in the country, but have plenty of time to continue climbing the ladder.
