Stabbing on San Francisco Muni bus leaves man seriously injured
San Francisco police said a stabbing on a Muni bus left one person injured Monday evening. The stabbing was reported just before 5 p.m., near Geary Boulevard and 14th Avenue. Police said they were told by witnesses they saw a man who was suffering from a stab wound. The victim was given first-aid and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. There was no information about a suspect, and police said no arrest had been made. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 415-575-4444.
Pedestrian fatally struck by driver in SF Western Addition identified as 35-year-old man
A man fatally struck by a driver in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood last week has been identified by the city's Medical Examiner's Office as 35-year-old Jonathan Chase Johnson.Officers responded at 7:01 a.m. Friday to the area of Geary Boulevard and Divisadero Street where the collision occurred.
